Description

A complete lab renovation of an existing five-story building on the Tufts University campus. The mechanical upgrade included (2) new 30,000cfm make-up air units, (3) plume exhaust fans and a water-to-water heat recovery loop. The custom make-up air units were delivered “knocked-down”, rigger and assembled in the 6th floor Mechanical Room. The plume exhaust fans were rigged and assembled onto steel dunnage. New laboratory valves for classroom exhaust hoods and continuous welded stainless steel exhaust distribution duct was included. The entire HVAC renovation included a DDC upgrade.
